Not Holy Cow this time. Holy WOW! We sold out of all of our new Charles Smith Wines 2006 Boom Boom! Syrah in one day. Cases of it gone. Boom Boom!

We’re trying to get more, but no promises. I guess those killer scores from Robert Parker have sky-rocketed Charles Smith’s popularity.
Check out these scores:
2005 Heart Syrah - 97 points
2005 Skull Syrah - 98 points
2005 Old Bones Syrah - 99 points - sold out the first day
Amazing! These Washington wines are going to blow you away. We opened a bottle of the Boom Boom! at the office the other night and in no time realized the bottle was almost empty and someone was very late for another meeting. Time flies when you’re having fun. And this delicious Washington Syrah goes down so easily it’s dangerous.

I published an interview with Dawn and Mary last weekend. You can find it here.
We talk about their tasting room, something they’ve gained a reputation for.

“The chandeliers, they’re so bad they’re good!”
We also talk about Oprah, bicycles, community, “bazillions of dollars,” and what success looks like. Of course, don’t forget their wine, labels, and tasting notes!
These women are fun. They make a late Spring afternoon fly by and before I know it the interview is over and it’s time for me to go.
Check out the actual interview at amyrootvik.com.
We are proud to offer their wines here in our shop.
2004 Cabernet Sauvignon is drinking so well right now.
The 2006 Riesling is our Wine Pick of the Month.
2005 Cowgirl Cab (red blend) has just been added. Great new label. Fantastic price!
One of the points both Dawn and Mary make is the good price point of their wines. They could be charging more, but they don’t want to. They want their wines to be accessible, affordable, and fun. That is an experience I fully enjoy.
Please let us know if there are any other questions you would like for us to ask Dawn and Mary. What do YOU want to know about DaMa Wines?

Sorry folks, the Sleight of Hand Magician’s Assistant Rosé is gone gone gone. We’ve reprimanded Trey Busch for not making more, but that hasn’t brought it back.
Try Trust Cellars Rosé. Steve Brooks is doing amazing things with wine. And Trey even recommended it.
